Welcome to my new look Chevin Sounds web site. I am in the
process of reorganising the site so that it more accurately reflects
my passion for the acoustic guitar.
You can still find all of the details about my multi-sampled guitars
as well as other resources for home music production by following
the link to the left of this page.
However, I am first and foremost a fingerstyle acoustic guitar
player with what I would describe as a semi-classical style,
although my music is undoubtedly also influenced by my love of
progressive rock! I write all of my own material and have started
performing fairly regularly at venues local to my home in Otley,
West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. I have also just finished my first
album "Warts 'n' All" - you can read more details of this below.
In the months ahead I intend to develop a new section of the site
to review some of the many acoustic guitars I have played and
owned in recent years. These reviews will also hopefully include
audio clips in many cases. I also hope to provide some soundclips
of transducer-type pickups I have evaluated for live performance.
I hope you enjoy the site! Please keep checking back regularly to
read updates.

PAUL BRISCOE FINGERSTYLE ACOUSTIC GUITARIST

NEW ALBUM! "WARTS 'N' ALL" - AVAILABLE DECEMBER 2009
This album of solo fingerstyle acoustic guitar pieces consists of 15 tracks with a total running time of just over
50 minutes. I've posted links to a couple of the tracks below. The first was recorded using a Walden
G3030CE and the second with a Walden G2070. Both are wonderful guitars (in my opinion much
underrated), made from all-solid tonewoods. The G3030 is cedar/rosewood and the G2070 is
cedar/mahogany.

MICHAEL MUCKLOW
If you enjoy fingerstyle acoustic guitar, you really should listen to the wonderful and relaxing music of Michael
Mucklow. Michael is based in New Mexico, USA. It was Michael's music which first drew my attention to Walden
guitars and he ultimately gave me a great deal of help in putting together my own album. We have become
firm friends!
